Featured Charity

The United Way will once again share in the proceeds collected at the gate during Rotary Ribfest 2024 with the three Rotary Clubs of CBRM.   The United Way and Rotary club organizations support a wide range of charitable organizations in the area, and this will ensure that even more people in the community will benefit from funds raised.

United Way Cape Breton exists to improve lives and build community on the island of Cape Breton, by engaging individuals and mobilizing collective action. We envision a thriving Cape Breton where everyone can realize their potential and maximize their quality of life.

We invest in local programs that move people from poverty to possibility, enable kids to be all that they can be, and create stronger communities.
